How to make an easy sockdoll

1.Get a coloured sock and cut straight across below the heel.

2.Stuff the sock and run a gathering stitch around the top of it.
3.Get a skin coloured sock and cut the toe area(make the head as big as you need)and stuff it.
4.Set the head inside the gathering stitch of the body and sew together.
5.Make a running stitch through the body to make legs and arms.
6.Us the top rib and 2inches to create hat by sewing together on the inside and sew onto head.

7.Add hair,eyes,nose,mouth,ribbons and buttons as you wish.
